    How to get Google AdSense second step approved?

    Got stuck at the second step approval for getting AdSense? don’t worry we are going to talk about this topic today. As we know Google AdSense is a 2 step verification process before taking you as a part to their community. Lots of people clears out their first step of the AdSense approval easily, as the reply for the application comes up very quickly within the time gap of 3-4 hours(approx). With mail stating ‘Welcome to AdSense – your application has been successfully reviewed. Now create your first ad unit and place the ad code on www.yourwebsite.com to fully activate your account (and more)‘ after qualifying the first step of the approval, now in this meantime you will be able to successfully log in to your AdSense account. After logging in to your account you will notice a red banner stating ‘Your AdSense application is still under review. You will only see blank ads until your account has been fully approved or dissaproved’.

     

    The 2nd step verification takes quite time as compared to the first step, because in this timespan Google checks your contents, page-views and lots of the other details listed in their policies.
    The second step takes 2 days or a week maximum (6 days or maybe more), starting from the date when you implement the generated ad code to your website. For those who didn’t received any mail from the AdSense team related to the approval even after 6 days or more may have done something wrong, just read the following mentioned steps so that you may correct the mistakes made(if any). So lets start from the beginning,

    Note: The following methods stated are for the blogger.

    STEP 1:-     Copy the ad code (Asynchronous) from your AdSense account which is under review.

    STEP 2:- Now login to your blogger account and click ‘Layout‘.

    STEP 3:- Hit the ‘Add Gadgets‘ and browse for the ‘HTML/JavaScript‘ , just add those copied codes inside the box(body), you can leave the title as blank or write ‘Ads’ etc according to your wish.

    STEP 4:- Now place the gadget anywhere inside the layout(I recommend to place the gadget under the blog post).

    Now you are done, but

    How to check that you implemented the codes correctly on your blog??

    You can check your put up codes on your website easily, just freshly open your webpage on any browser and open up the source code of your webpage(ctrl+u[windows], cmd+u[mac]), and search for the AdSense codes (ctrl+f) , just paste any line of the codes in the search box and you will find it(if you implemented it correctly).

    You can also go to ‘cache:yourWebsite.com‘. This will show you the last time when did the crawlers crawled your site and how it appeared to them. Now after this you are free to wait for the reply from the AdSense team.

    What are the common mistakes that people do!!

    While in between the time gap for the 2nd approval, you should not stop posting articles on your blog, just post at least 2 articles a day that’s all. Also check these:
    1- Go to the blogger dashboard.
    2- click the earning section.

     

    3- Make sure that ‘Show ads in blog‘ should be turned off, that is hit ‘No’ and click the ‘save settings‘.

     

    Its because, while in the 2nd stage of the approval we just want the crawlers to get that code only, that we implemented(above) from your AdSense account which is still under review.
    You can later on choose ‘yes‘ after getting approved completely and opt for where to display your Ads.

     

    Also while waiting for the mail from Google you will notice a blank space on your blog where you implemented the Ad codes, this is not an issue!! you can read it clearly written on your first approval mail that you will see blank Ads until the second stage is approved. Lots of people keep on searching about this and make unnecessary changes here and there in their blog’s settings. It is one of the biggest mistake that often people make, don’t do any changes in the layout, HTML codes, templates or in any other pages , just be relaxed and think about your new upcoming posts to publish.

    Suggestions

    I personally want to share with you that I too also got stuck at the 2nd step, it was been more than 6 days till there was no sign of reply from Google AdSense team. But on the 7th day morning I received their mail that techulk got accepted. So if you keep in mind all the things that I’ve mentioned above then just get sure that you will get your approval Asap. The main aspect to follow is, please don’t get panic and search for here and there what to do etc on the web, just be calm and do the normal stuffs you do on your blog daily(no layout or template changes) just your article publishing that’s it! If you got your 1st step approved then the 2nd step is also not a big deal. So Keep Calm And Keep Your Posting On.

        Consider making the suggested changes:

        1. Migrate to a paid domain instead of TK.
        2. Remove 3rd party ads and other means of monetization.
        3. Add a privacy policy page.

      Hi,

      I applied for Google Adsense two weeks ago and I still didn’t get any approval or rejection email. But my Adsense dashboard is showing the option of ad units etc. Is my account approved and activated?

      I create ad unit and paste the code in the sidebar but still, it’s not showing an ad.

      What should I do? Should I wait for activation email or write to them?

      Great post admin! Really helpful for beginners… What i have experienced so far, to get approval from adsense, you must have at least 18-20 posts (Plagiarism zero percent ) on your site and MUST VISIBLE pages like about us, contact us, disclaimer and privacy policy. Google never rejects application.. Does this make sense?

          I passed the first stage of google Adsense and in the second stage I paste the code in my layout at the bottom of the page. But after 8 days I got a response from google Adsense that my account is disapproved due to insufficient content.

          Below is the message I receive

          Insufficient content: To be approved for AdSense and show relevant ads on your site, your pages need to have enough text on them for our specialists to review and for our crawler to be able to determine what your pages are about.

          To resolve this issue, please work through the following suggestions:

          Make sure that your pages have sufficient text – websites that contain mostly images, videos or Flash animations will not be approved.
          Your content should contain complete sentences and paragraphs, not only headlines.
          Ensure that your website is fully built and launched before you apply for AdSense – do not apply while your site’s still in a beta or “under construction” phase or only consists of a website template.
          Place the ad code on a live page of your website. It does not have to be the main page, but test pages that are empty except for the AdSense ad code will not be approved.
          Provide a clear navigation system for your visitors so that they can easily find all of the sections and pages of your website.
          If you’d like to monetize YouTube videos, please apply for the YouTube monetization program. Note that blogs and websites that contain only videos will not be approved.

            Hello Raji, your published content of the articles are less. As per your blog’s niche which is sports/news I will recommend you to focus on social media sharing more to bring traffic towards your blog and increase its rank, only that way you can increase your probability of getting approved for now. Adding to it from now onwards make sure that the articles you publish should cross the minimum 250 words limit. Other than that there are no problems with your blog’s template (make sure its not that crowded).

Please how do I get the adcode. Another thing is that during the first review I don’t get an email. I only get a disapproval email after the second stage review. What do I do?

        Wow! I am really grateful to Techulk and Shravan Das for the wonderful info. Few days ago I was browsing up and down for Information on Google AdSense Second Review Since I was denied many times. After reading this article I had to review my site and my site is now fully approved. I thought it wise to come back for testimony.

        However, from personal experience, I have discovered that it is not wise to place the code in your theme header.php or sidebar directly. This is because it will appear in all your pages both the ones with sufficient and insufficient content. This breaks the AdSense rule. There were other minor things I discovered. Use the AdSense Plugin or AdRotate.

          Please help. I could not add AdSense code in my site or even mark to Show Ads in the Template (an error is thrown). I also could not log in to the AdSense account because it says the account is still awaiting review.

      I need your help please. I have been waiting for confirmation from Adsense on my application. It is more than a week now. I understand that there are two steps in the review. In the first step, is there a need to enter an ad code on the HTML template so they can review my blog? I have applied last 2013 and I forgot what I did.

      I have been disapproved since 2013 due to insufficient content. But now, I have around 19 posts original posts already. Earnings tab on my blog is still showing: Your AdSense account is awaiting approval.Prior to this, the notice was pertaining to elicit clicks though I am sure I have not been approved with Adsense.

      I already did step placing ad code from adsense dashboard home page as your point and put it in side bar &bottom of post. Also turned off the adsense setting in earnings section.

      My question is….., in adsense dashboard – My Ads page – Its show i have 5 unit of ad code? Did i need to do something about these code?

        Hi Rajat, I’ll recommend increasing the content of your articles on masurim. You have got all the required pages on your blog but the social network page links (Google plus, Pintrest, Twitter & Facebook) present on your footer section is redirecting to “404 Page Not Found”, make sure you’ll fix that. Adding to that before applying for AdSense again make sure that you remove the 3rd party monetising network Ad codes from the blog (currently chitika).

        Hi Ashutosh, your blog is using blogger platform. So to place an Ad unit:
        * Login to AdSense dashboard and create a new Asynchronous ad unit there.
        * Copy the codes you get, and login to your blogger dashboard.
        * There, under the layout select “add a widget” and click html/JavaScript widget.
        * Give any title you want or leave it blank, and copy the Ad codes in that box and hit save.

        Done!!! 🙂

          I followed these steps but no change. Since 4 days no ad appear only blank space appear on sidebar.
          And i didn’t get any reply from google adsense for final approval.
          Actually i applied for adsense on 8-sept-16 and i got reply from adsense i.e. Your account approved and paste one ad code on your website for final approval.

      Thanks For Sharing. I just implemented add codes in my website. There is something to tell that I added a custom domain for my blogger but when I got 1st stage approval email I removed the custom domain(installpcsoftware.coom) as I applied for installpcsoftware.blogspot.com did I made it wrong? And after implementing add code when I checked cache:installpcsoftware.blogspot.com then I see my implemented ad codes doesn't exist there and also that's showing for custom domain I added. And the most important thing is I don't see any red bars in my adsense account, It's just fine there. But not showing the adds. Can you tell me the what's going on here?

      It's been almost 2 weeks now since I applied adcode into my HTML.
      I had done everything tto improve my website so google can approved it, including by awaking till 3 AM almost everyday.
      It's like having passed university examination if we can be one who display google adsense.

      Can you please take a look and let me know what i need to do. I have more then 100 posts and each post have more then 500 words. Some of my posts which have less content are noindex. Do you think google considering the noindex pages as well?

      Also i have put images between content and it splits the content, does it also results in insufficient content?

        • These days Google's results page focuses on mobile-friendly webpages to show up on the top compared to non mobile-friendly websites as the traffic from the smart phones and tabs growing enormously compared to the traffic coming from the Desktop. So you can cosider using a mobile friendly template on xololine.
        • During second step approval Google also manually checks (not the bots only but the humans), I found out that many articles you have written are short. You can check your word limits using many tools online. So from now onwards make sure that your posts characters length should not be less.
        • Consider submitting your sitemap to Google webmasters/ Search console. SERP for the keyword Xololine shows "did you mean: keywords" when searched.
        • You can check how well you are performing using alexa rankings for xololine.
        After considering these aspects you can re-apply for AdSense again. Hope you get your approval soon Sandy.

      We been trying for adsense for quite some time (www.globaljobassist.com). We have cleared first stage but somehow face hindrance with regards to second stage. Whenever we apply it gets rejected and receive a generic email

        Hi there Mr La Rusman,
        I checked your blog! everything seems to be okay (but don't keep continuously changing your templates stick with one). Did you followed the steps mentioned in the post above? Because I did found the asynchronous 300X600px ad codes in your source codes though, but there is no blank space anywhere on your blog. Also make sure that you have mentioned about your blog's language in the settings too. Adding to that you can use Google webmasters/Search console to target audience from specific Countries & also to check if there is any crawl errors.

        Hello Mr Yezersef, yes there is a blank space on your sidebar and you placed the codes at right place. I think there is some problem with the image thumbnails of your blog (template) fix it, everything else seems to be fine.

        Hi there Mr Sheyi Kojo,
        The second approval may take up to 1 week so don't worry. I have located the async ad codes on sheyikojo.com, but while reviewing your blog I found the Privacy Policy page only in the footer. You can add "Contact us" and "About you' section also. Adding to that you have written "Click Banner" on the title of your sidebar widget, make it something like 'Ads' or 'Advertisements' as its against Google policy and above that you are still under the reviewing stage.

        thank you for the quick reply sir, i will do just that.
        but i observed something when i was fetching and rendering my site.
        robot txt is blocking some scripts and image and i checked the resource and i found out that the ads i placed are blocked too and that google bot may not be able to crawl and index it so also adsense.
        what do you advise please…
        should i remove the robot txt?

        Robots.txt is used to tell the search engine bots "how to crawl a site", you can check the robots txt of any website by typing "www.sitename.com/robots.txt" in the URL search box of your browser and compare it with yours. Also Mr. Sheyi there is no problem with your robots file i did checked everything when you first requested me to check http://www.sheyikojo.com.
        I recommend you not to alter any changes in your robots.txt file it can also lead to skipping of your whole blog from the search results (if you do it wrong). You can use Google Search Console(webmasters tool) to check if there is any additional crawl errors or something.

        Hello, I recommend to disable all the pop ups and the 3rd party advertisements before applying for AdSense again. Also add privacy policy and contact us pages on allxclusiveinfo.

      i always get through the first stage but the second stage after 2 to 3 days i get a message of adsense not approved

      Hello dear fellow. Are webmaster tool errors very important to be corrected? Can google adsense disapprove your blog on the basis of "Structured Data Errors and crawl errors"?

        I think that there is problem with your robots.txt file Mr. Jahangir, make sure that you didn't made any custom manipulation which is leading to the bots not to fetch your site. Also it depends which all sections are affected that is showing the error in webmasters/search console.

        Hello Solomon, yes the reason behind for disabling the "show ads on blog" option is that we only want Google crawlers to get your those ad snippet script which you got by signing it from your AdSense account. Adding to that I did not saw any blank space on your blog, copy the "Asynchronous" Ad codes and place it right under the blog post in the "Layout" section. Also it would be much better if your add a contact us and privacy policy page.

      Thank you for this article it is much more informative then adsense official documentation. One thing is not clear to me, I got to second step and placed ads on my website but when I login to Adsense account, there's "Place the add code" screen even ads are on my website for two days. Is that normal? Also performance show 0 page views.

        Everything seems to be fine on http://www.fcpspart1dentistry.com now, but I highly recommend that you set up for google webmasters account (if not) and link up your website to check weather there is any kind of crawl or indexing errors before applying again.

        I had already set up for wabmaster, there are two types of errors which i am unable to fix as there is not sufficient information available on internet, these errors are 'Update and Author" errors. I am using forever theme for my wordpress. Kindly if you have a solution for it then Help me to fix it.

      I have applied for adsense acount one month back, i got through first step of approval, on the second step they have asked me to put the code on blog, i did the same, but after 3 days they replied with the mail that " we are sorry, we are not approving your application because your site does not comply with google policies".
      I read many articles about it and i did all necessary changes in my blog. Now i want you to have a look on my blog whether is it ready for re submission of application or not.

        Google is now indexing and ranking mobile friendly websites higher as compared to non-mobile friendly websites in search results, so you can make your website template mobile friendly (there are lots of mobile friendly templates available on web, you can choose one of them if you like).
        Create a "Privacy Policy" page and place it on your homepage, you can also include a "contact us/me" page such that visitors can personally contact you whenever they want,

        Hello Olivia, Did you placed the AdSense codes that you got by logging into your AdSense account on your website correctly? While in between the time gap of 2nd stage approval you will be able to see a blank Ad space on your webpage, I didn't saw that on lagatar.com nor I am able to see your source codes to check whether the codes are there or not. Google spiders crawls your site for those Ad codes that you implemented. Adding to that you can also disable the Facebook Popup and enable the source codes too for a while until you get the 2nd step approval. Don't get worried the main motive for the 2nd stage is letting Google know that whether the site belongs to you or not. Just place the codes at the right place and wait for getting approved by them. You can use Google webmasters tools for digging more deeper.
