    Sp Tool DRAM Error Finally Fixed

    How to fix the error?

    Don’t worry that you bricked the phone just take a deep breath and relax a little bit, I am not gonna leave from here without fixing the error!

    THE PROBLEM YOU FACED!!

    You might be flashing a firmware or a wrong ROM on your device using SP tool and the moment after you formatted the whole device including the bootloader lead to a HARD BRICKED phone in your hands, with no sign of charging LED light or anything. After that when you tried to flash your stock ROM back on the device using SP TOOLS then you get the error written:
    “BROM ERROR : S_FT_ENABLE_DRAM_FAIL (4032) ”
    this critical issue happens when the space in the device storage get wiped(EMMC storage).

     

    see how you gonna fix your phone yourself without going to the service provider in a few simple steps!!!!1. MAKE SURE YOU HAVE A STOCK ORIGINAL ROM OF YOUR DEVICE & PROPER DRIVERS INSTALLED ON YOUR PC.

    2. OPEN SP TOOLS.

    3. BROWSE THE SCATTER FILES OF YOUR ROM AND CLICK DOWNLOAD.

    4. IMMEDIATELY PRESS THE VOLUME DOWN BUTTON THEN AFTER THAT CONNECT YOUR DEVICE TO THE PC WHEN SEARCHING APPEARS ON THE SP TOOL (if not worked then do the same process but this time you press both the POWER AND VOLUME DOWN button)

    5. THEN FLASH YOUR STOCK ROM GREEN CIRCLE APPEARS AND YOU ARE DONE WITH IT!!

    SEE HOW SIMPLE!!!!

    TIP:
    * Use the latest version of the Sp tool to flash your stock Rom! If the green completion circle appears and still the device doesn’t boots up then use the Sp tool version number 5.1424 to flash the device.

    Note: After lots of fixing I’ve found out that all the devices have different ways to get flashed properly, for those who didn’t fixed their phone by the following above method including the steps mentioned under the comments, please leave the details of your phone either in the comment section or in the support form I will definitely look for the solution Asap. Plus those who are having lenovo, their work is in progress for the fix. Also if you guys are finding trouble reading the comments section on your mobile, then you can change the view from portrait to landscape for better reading (enable auto rotation).

       MICROMAX CANVAS SPARK Q380 goes dead after flashing its stock ROM. Error occured while flashing my phone through SP FLASH TOOL. and goes dead.it is showing charging light and even is detected by pc. but the drivers are not succesfully installing.     when i re flashed it through sp flash tool red bar goes to 100% and then error ocurrs like DRAM error or COM PORT error. i tried latest version as well as version 5.xxxx version of flash tool.but always got some ERROR in flash tool.       btw i used "mobile uncle tools" to change my imei no.
      after i update my phone to the latest software update. the imei no gone again.
      then i cannot change my imei no, it says "this command is not allowed in userbuild". but one of the utuber says to put space before +… and it works… AT+EGMR=1,7,"NEW IMEI NO"

      hello.. i manage to change my imei no using mobile uncle tools.. i used my imei no on the back of the phone battery but it is not the same imei no the phone used to be. i put the same imei no on both phone 1 and phone 2. it is not a prob rite? i have my network signal now.. =D

      Buenas tengo un iphone 5s clone model A1530 mt6572_S00 y esta brienkeado no enciende ni nada me sale este mismo error de enable dam fail 4032, solo carga el 100% en rojo y aparece el error he probado muchas roms en algunos caso aparece este error también S_FT_DA_NO_RESPONSE (4001). EL teléfono esta nuevo solo que me vino con un firmware ruso, intente cambiarlo y quedo asi como ladrillo tengo win7 32bits la pc lo detecta como MTK USB PORT (COM 34). LE AGRADECERÍA MUCHÍSIMO SI ME AYUDARAN A RECUPERARLO MI CORREO ES yofranlima@gamil.com espero su pronta respuesta y solución como experto gracias

      Please help, Acer Liquid E700 triple sim version, everything went well from scanningthe device until I flashed the rom, Green OK appeared, but phone still does not boot. I tried using the latest version of SP and the version you mentioned on this post. BTW what happened is I tried to install a diferent version of my acer's rom but I accidentally ticked format on sp tools, when I installed the custom ram my phone doesnt boot, so I flashed my original stock rom but it doesnt boot anymore, since then I've been trying a lot of ways but it doesnt work, I can flash the rom it's just that it doesnt boot anymore . Please help and Thank you.

      My phone is Huawei G700-U10 connects and disconnects when I connect it to the PC, the only thing it does is noncontinuous vibrating, so I can't flash it in anyway I know…

      iI had Xiaomi Redmi note 3g
      total dead condition. I can not try to charge
      then i try to flash back by using sp tool
      after the phone is connected in the comp, the download process is running, red.
      after 32 seconds, the new message ERROR 4032: Enable DRAM failed!
      I tried your way, after the phone is connected to my comp directly hit the bottom and with a combination of power, but after 32 seconds it remained the same result ERROR 4032: Enable DRAM failed!

      Hello sir i have a china cloned samsung s6 i have get a scatter file from it by mtk droid tools..but when i go to backup my rom using readback feature of sp flash tool, it says please check your loadmatches to the target…and i have flashed a wrong recovery to my phone and its now bootlooping…i can't find a stock rom to this device please help sir.

      Guys Today i accidentally select the "format whole flash" option in sp flash tool

      so automatically it leads to my Micromax Canvas doodle 3 a102 phone without the bootloader

      Now my phone does not power on even it is not showing the Micromax logo and battery charging icon

      Hlo sir……I brought micromax canvas hue 2 a316 mtk6592 and i tried to unlock the bootloader using fastboot from pc….Then it gave two options but i was yunable to choose it and i tried to switch on the phone manually by pressing power button…But i cant turn it on ..it doesnt show recovery mode..i tried to turn on by pressing volume- +power and also volume + + power but i cant turn on….it only shows charging without any signal…what to do???? I would be very thankful if u provide me the solution…….

      I'm having the same problem when I accidentally formatted my phone along with the bootloader. I'm using the latest sp flash tool (version 5.+) and still having the 4032 error. I'm also using the same rom and scatter file i've got from the facebook groups for my phone. I hope you can help me.

      I too have the same problem, but the error message in my case is a lil bit different.
      after download DA and before flashing the ROM it shows-
      "BROM ERROR : S_FT_GET_MEMORY_FAIL (4058)
      cannot find memory"

      Also the solution u gave of pressing vol-/vol+/vol- & power button while connecting didn't helped me.
      so please help me get out of this. I am really stucked in this for 2-3 days & i really need my phone .

      My phone details: Micromax A120 canvas 2 colors
      Trying to install stock kitkat ROM from xda forum.

        When you extract the zip file most probably you will find the Sp tool flashable file,
        Open your SP tool and follow the same steps mentioned in the post.
        (make sure that you have your device's drivers installed and is showing up in the device manager after being connected to the PC, adding to that remove the battery of the device while connecting to the PC after pressing the download button in the flash tool),

      Hi i have a wiko fizz MT6572 and i tried your solution after whiping the whole flash+bootloader but with no success coz i got the S_DL_PMT_ERR_NO_SPACE (5069) error.
      P.S: i can only flash the preloader but not the rest of the rom

      I have micromax unite 2. I have 4gb rom. My phone completely dead no Vol+, Vol-, Power button recovery used. No charging led shown. when I using flash with sp flash, Light Gone and this happned.
      I go back to kitkat from lollipop using this link tutorial. And I use this tutorial software and rom.

      hi there, i just want to verify about the red progress bar on the sp flash tool, after click "download" button the red progress bar will show up only after i plug the device, so that's mean the red progress will 100% after i plug the device, i tried your advice to plug after red progress but the red progress not shown up, even i waited for 1 hour, please help me, your explanation is very appreciated as i really need to unbrick my HDC iphone 5s clone MTK6572.

        Hello MBAH, it was with the old version of the SP tool when the red bar first fills up and then after only the searching appeared,
        With the newer versions (one of which you are using), you have to connect your device just after when you click the "download" button (battery removed).

      I have a Star S5 MT6589 china phone. I get SP_FLASH_TOOL_DOWNLOAD_ERROR (4008)! No yellow bar is there! I can flash only the preloader. Some guys at the service center told me the EMMC is broken? Can it be?

      hey mine is tecno Phantom A+ at first it said it had completed flashing and gave me the green circle but it never booted.         Your A7000 is a new device, I went for searching a little but didn't got any stock Rom of your model,
        Do you have your stock Rom with you??? If not then give me your email I will give link to it whenever I will find it ASAP with the proper method to get it flashed,

        Hello Jose, based on your details provided by far I found this Rom at needrom,

        while flashing the above Rom on your phone, instead of hitting the "download" option in the flash tool, you hit the "Firmware Upgrade" option and then connect the device to flash it!!

        I also found out the exact Rom for your model (i think so),

        But the language is different, by the way you can at least give a try to download it also if the first option fails.

        Download it again and try to "Firmware Upgrade" but I get the following message:

        "SP FLASH TOOL ERROR : ( 8045 )

        No valid Partition Managemente Table(PMT) for storege device!
        [HINT]:
        Please make sure there is a correct load in the target.
        "Firmware Upgrade" could not bne executed without PMT!
        Please "Download" ONLY first to create PMT on the target!"

        Also he did: "Auto Format Flash" / "Format whole flash"

        If I try to "Download" makes the whole process and install everything but the phone still does not start …

      Hi I've managed to brick my wife's phablet. I've done everything like it was described (sp tools, rom from needrom and mtk usb drivers for my windows.) But when the whole process was finished (got that circle logo with the FINISHED! sign) I was left with a phablet that does not power up and when I attach it via usb cable to my pc, it connects and disconnects forever. In the device manages it doesn't even show anymore.
      When I run the sp tools again, after 11 seconds I get that 4032 error no matter what I do (pressing power button + volume up or down etc).
      It's a MTK6592 7.0 inch octacore phablet which can be found under various brands and names like Ulefone U69/U7, Tronsmart PS7, turbo-x thunder (that's mine)
      Please help, my wife is getting really angry here!

        If you got that green circle of completion after flashing with the Sp tool and still the device didn't booted up then the problem I think must be with the Sp tool version that you are using, try to flash it with the Sp tool version 5.1424!       I bought accidently a chinese android which is fake huawei p7 (alps.jb.mp.v1.30) 4.2.2 <<all i remember and touchwiz like samsung galaxy now the problem is me downloaded wrong rom in it and it's got error called BROM ERROR: S_FT_ENABLE_DRAM_FAIL (4032) but my device is still showing in device manager Can u help me Sir ? i don't have stock rom of this android phone it's all dead android now

      Hello Dhruv! If the PC is detecting the phone then we can fix it with no time, the reason why after the green circle confirmation the phone is not booting up is because the version of the Sp tool you are using is might be not correct (and I think the stock Rom you have is the correct one) . Try to flash with the SP tool version 5.1424 . I think it will work for you if not then you can contact me directly via the Techulk Support form.

      hey .. I recently tried to upgrade my Gionee M2 to kitkat (official upgrade)… everything went fine… I even got the green circle.. but, when I disconnected my phone and tried to switch it on.. It won't switch on…. My pc seems to detect my phone… but, I don't know where to look.

      I tried to write the ROM again and got this error.. any help..?

      hi there mr.

      i have a lenovo s920 8 gb version, with warranty expired a few days
      just as the warranty expired, the phone went soft brick by itself
      everytime power it on. it just stuck at lenovo android powered screen

      then i tried to flash it with sp tools, but with wrong rom. flashed it with ROM S920_ROW_S117 4 gb version.

      now, it just went dead. not powering on
      but, if i connect it to charger or my laptop. the red light led will lit up
      on my laptop win 7, it is recognized as MTK USB Port COM 4

      a few hours searching, i did found the 8 gb rom version. here
      S920_ROW_8G_S111_131217 (versi 8GB)

      do i still have the chance to revive it again?

        What I've in common found is that lenovo phones after getting bricked is very hard to make it back to life. I strongly recommend that you do read all the comments under this post, you can see that lots of people fixed their phones but those who didn't was one of those with the lenovo phones.       Every hing goes correct exept system.ext4.img
      System.ext4.IMG showed me error
      I want to sell my phone so i tried to install offical recovery by that mtk recovery
      & created blocks for sp flash tool but shpws me same arror at system.ext4.img
      I installed offical recovery but cant install rom
      It shows me only micromax mobile and dont start

        Yeah Mr. Manoj your are on a bootloop, stay relaxed , just tell me can you get access to your recovery mode or not? if not then
        1-Install your drivers of the phone on the pc.
        2-follow this link to get the cwm for your device installed http://www.micromaxunite2.net/2014/10/cwm-recovery-for-micromax-unite-2.html ,

        3-Flash the cwm via SP flash tool mentioned in the link.
        4- after that you can flash your stock rom.zip file via cwm and come back to your stock kk rom.(while searching your device i found that your phone comes with 2 variants one with 4gb and other with 8gb make sure that you download the proper stock rom of your device)

        Hello Mr. Manoj, maybe the recovery you obtained might not correct , make sure you have followed the right steps as mentioned in this link http://www.techulk.com/2015/01/how-to-create-scatter-file-and-recovery.html
        I've searched related to your device and found that there is cwm recovery availability for your device, why don't you flash cwm? ,
        still if you have to flash the original recovery you can take it from the stock Rom of yours, just un-check all the others excluding the recovery.img and flash it to the device.

        Its nothing much to be know about while formatting you have to just select the option "format everything except the bootloader" that's it!!good luck AMOL may your phone will get fixed asap :-/,

        hello Mr Amol error sdmmc write failed stands for the error in the "secure digital multi media card" error you can try Re-formatting the device via SP tool and try to flash your stock rom!

      Hi. I am doing the same on Micromax canvas HD A116. The firmware got formatted and I am not able to install it again. I have tried 3 different stock firmware downloads and every time it gives "BROM_ERROR: S_DL_PMT_ERR_NO_SPACE (5069)". I'd appreciate if I can get any help whatsoever. Thank you.

        Mr. Vipul try to follow these steps too hope it'll work,
        >format your device using Sp tool.
        >Disconnect the device from the Pc then browse the scatter files of you stock rom.
        >then click download as the red bar goes to 100% and the searching appears connect your device. Let's see, make sure that the drivers are installed properly!

      Me also have the same problem. I do a lot of researches online and I found the same solution which is to re-flashing a new stock ROM. I hate to hear that solution. It wont work on my Lenovo S820 phone because I can't flash any ROM again even hundreds times I tried. I never flash any ROM except the stock ROM. But it all fall into fail. Help me

        I can understand your stress Mr. Zul. I was unable to fix this issue on lenovo, what i recommend you that before re-flashing the stock rom try to format it too. If your device is under warranty then take it to them they will flash up the factory signed rom on it!:-/

      My phone was ok. I installed cwm recovery by mtk dorid tool. But , I wanted to install TWRP recovery by a pc software- during installation a warning message appeared and I clicked ok (something formatted – I did not remember). Then I lost my mobile network signal, null imei and null baseband. Then I install N9500_MTK6589_Miui_Revolution_4.5.23_Cwm via CWM recovery (2 times, but system closed automatically. But, third time after installation phone totally bricked ). Basically phone starts with startup sound, but with crushing screen. I was able to connect mtk dorid tool and it says Model: N9500- null baseband-null imei, then I tried to Install CWM recovery. Then phone totally bricked without starting. I tried everything from google to solve. Then I was able to firmware upgrade – stock rom (Only one time). Now, stock rom is not downloading. I used all sp flash tools. All the times one error appears –Brom Error: S_FT_Enable_DARM_Fail (4032). Please anyone help me. (My Pc Detect My Phone as preloader usb vcom port, I am using windows 8.1 64 bit, no issue with driver software and sp flash tool. Is it any problem with my Motherboard.) Now : when i connect my phone to pc via usb cable – 1. Without battery pc detect preloader usb vcom port, 2. with battery pc detect da usb vcom port. Phone is not switching on. i tried all your method but nothing happens.

      hi i just want to ask this, i have my 4gb internal sd card or what ever you call the phone/tablet internal memory (not the ram) ,after installing/flashing the CWM custom recovery mode to make backup of my original rom i just stuck to its menu and cant do the backup of my rom so i decided to search and search then i see the word FLASHING ROMS in internet so i flash anything without having the backup stock firmware after days of searching i just came up to really a similar or maybe that's my stock firmware i flash it to my tablet it seems to work its the same as my stock rom/firmware but the problem is my 4gb sdcard turns to 1.3gb? can you help me fix this?

        If its not getting flashed normally then you have to find multiple ways to get it flashed that is, you can either press the volume down button plus the power button while connecting to the pc when the searching comes in sp tool to make it detected!(or try other combos if not worked) thanks,

      I don't know how you hard bricked your phone by chainfire3D,whenever something goes wrong it gives just a bootloop only!!!anyways leave it,
      I don't own a lenovo so i can't be sure of which is the stock rom,try re-installing the drivers or try to use the old version of the Sp flash tool, by the way there is a video too on youtube here's the link of it – http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=hKYH7gkvrvY
      Its shows the correct procedure what i've given you can watch that too, i don't know why the lenovo phones never gets fixed after so many attempts , there are guys above in the comments having lenovo who didn't fixed their device by my method 🙁 ,

        i used your method..but using different stock rom because i think the troble from the rom that doesn't match..
        for the other..this the ROM that work in my lenovo a369i = A369i_ROW_S201_140610

        Now..i'm still struggling to resolve Nvram error..wkwk..
        do yo have any idea sir?

        This wifi nvram error:0x10 arises in some devices when it is flashed by the the SP tools, I don't think it causes a huge problem as it just stays in the wifi searching area maybe, but if you still wanna get rid of it completely then there is an easy fix for that too, main thing behind the story is that you must be rooted for this solution & you must have to copy and replace files in the nvram folder using the root explorer, here is the easiest and working link what i found for you-

        There's nothing to apologise for this blog is not for us its for you all, feel free to comment! the way you guys feel happy after fixing your phone the same as I do as my method fixed another device,
        Now lets roll back to what your question is,its not a big deal
        If the stock camera is not working then you can disable it in settings>>apps>>(your stock camera)
        After that you can download 3rd party camera apps like •camera fx zoom,•google camera,•cymera etc (you can also make it the system app)!!,

      No..i'm not in bootlop..i think it had bricked
      My PC can still detect it as MTK USB Port (COM42) ..but when i try to format with flashtool red progress bar n "BROM ERROR : S_FT_ENABLE_DRAM_FAIL (4032) " always appear. not only format, but also download.

      whether the stock rom I downloaded does not match?if does not match..do you have any stock rom that match with it

      i have bootlop problem with my lenovo a369i after installing CF3D..
      after lookin for many web n blog..then i try to flashin with SP tool..
      i used Lenovo A369i_ROW_S108_130929 stock rom..but appear "BROM ERROR : S_FT_ENABLE_DRAM_FAIL (4032) "
      but i ignore it..then i click firmware->upgrade it success..a green circle pop-up appear..so i try to turn on it..but nothin happen..
      i try to download scatter file again..but still "BROM ERROR : S_FT_ENABLE_DRAM_FAIL (4032) " appear..
      i've tried your method..but still not resolve it..

        I can imagine your situation Mr Rozaq this problem makes everybody sick, but don't loose your hopes,
        Chainfire 3D made lots of guys on bootloops(if you can go to the cwm then try doing formatting data and cache or try flashing any custom rom.zip of your device if any) by the way if no custom rom is out there for you ,then lets go forward with flash tool only,
        –>Now if you are in bootloop so i think your PC might be detecting your device(checkout on device manager),
        [I am replying you assuming that you have your proper stock rom of your model],
        Now what you first do is –
        •open up your flash tool then connect your phone to it & then hit the format button,
        Let the formatting be completed(the error may arise,but lets give a try),
        •then hit the upgrade firmware/download button after browsing your scatter files of the stock rom.
        •if dosn't works out try it without the battery too.
        Lemme know the progress, i will see too it Asap when I get time.

      doesnt make a sound. it always says usb not recognized but ill try the manuall installation of vcomdrivers and acer driver for z 150, and theres no option for userdata, just the preloader to the android. should be all checked right? cos i cant boot my phone to recovery means all wiped out now.

        the latest SP tool now is I think the "Sp tools v5.1352.01" .The Vcom drivers Mr. emronn is the default drivers for the mtk devices its mostly work on all the devices , even if the exclamation mark is showing on the device manager it does't matter ,what its matters is it should shows up on the device manager while connecting, If its showing up then you can follow the different steps of flashing mentioned in the comments and in the post. thanks, feeling bad that you still didn't able to fix the phone. goodluck,

      i have the stock rom. but since because my phones totally dead and the usb debug mode cant be turn on. is it possible to still recognize the device? ive installed the acer driver manually but it shows code 10 error on the device manager. dont know what to do then. guess thats all im waiting for. for my to be recognized by the pc..

        does the pc is making connection sound when connecting your phone?,if its doing so then you can hope to get it fixed, and make sure while flashing the device via sp tools you should uncheck the "userdata" option in it, by default its unchecked only, but see weather its checked or not, try connecting your device to the pc again and again after clicking the download button browsing the scatter file!!!its really a badluck that the usb debugging is not on.Have a try atleast!!!

      hi. i have acer liquid z150 and i do all the things above. my problem is brom 4032 and the s_dl_load_overlap for region. not sure if my device was detected . but ive already installed all software driver for my unit.what should i see on the device manager? and can you give me a link for the vcom driver if its necessary. thank u

      I got Lenovo A369i and I got the same problem here,, seems like I already flashed the preloader which is MediaTek DA USB VCOM port, it is success on this side,, my problem right now, why the SP Tool still searching even after I got the right preloader? the percentage 0.00%,, please help me..
